The idea for “ProBlogResources” came to me when I was working on a blog post about affiliate marketing start-up costs. I was basically putting together all the costs involved in getting started with affiliate marketing. From purchasing web hosting, a domain, a logo, etc… I know when I was first starting out, I was confused as to what I needed to purchase.

So to clear some of the confusion, in that post I included products and services that I have personally used. But in doing so it prompted me to start doing a lot of research. I spent hours comparing and contrasting products and services that people would need. I was surprised to find that some of the purchases I made in the past could have been more wisely made. For example, after hours of research on various web hosting companies, I am now thinking about moving to a different web hosting company that has much higher ratings, uptime, and speed.

Fortunately, in my day job I am an analyst. So I am use to analyzing in order to find the best solutions.

So this all lead me to a great idea… This website. The idea is to make top lists  of all the various products/services you may want to invest in to help run a successful blog.
